Ugh..Senior Crap
Up late doing senior project....I finished all my 15 hours of job-shadowing in one day. I job-shadowed a chef on saturday..from 10 till 1....it was pretty cool. The chef-lady i job shadowed was pretty interesting...She came in thirty minutes late because of a hangover...yeah..made for an interesting experience. Anyways.. i just spent most of my time cutting up ingredients to different meals and listening to people tell stories about what goes on around that place..there was this big black lady who i worked with. She's like thatblack maid on Billy Madison. She kept calling me "chi'le".
it's a pretty crazy place from what i understand. Though not as high stress as a regular restuarant it got kinda crazy during the wedding we were catering. I learned that people friggin love chicken fingers...and quesadillas ..There were a lot of drunk people ...Open bar...free drinks...a lot of people indulging in free alcohol...well anyways..i had a great time..it was actually fun. Every one there liked me and i got offered a job, i picked up the application today. So ill be working during the Masters and supposedly this place pays big bucks and caters to some snazzy people. Some money to pay for college :D ..
I'm gonna try and convince mrs.shrout to give me an extension of some kind..not a long one...just unitll friday or better yet monday....cause of the three weeks that i had my arm in a cast i couldn't job shadow.... i wouldn't be able to do anyhting in a kitchen...also the fact that i've been sick as a dog all during break.... Wish me Luck
