Just a 'lil update...
Hey!!! I thought you might like to read a little update on my life, so here goes! Happy reading!!
Well...after we got back from our Disney trip, the house was a mess and I had TONS of laundry to do. I put a teeny tiny dent into the laundry then another trip came up that I had completely forgotten about!! I'll get to that in a bit though. Last week Toys R Us was having a HUGE sale so I went and did some Xmas and birthday shopping for my littlest princess. I can hardly believe she will be four years old in less than a week! Time if flying by wayyyyyy tooooooo fastttttt!!!! Anyways...on Monday Kaelyn and I left for a little trip to Madeira Beach over by Tampa right after she got out of school. I had the car packed and ready to go so as soon as I picked her up we headed out. My Nannie and Uncle Mike were there for a week. We got there and I was pretty shocked that they were staying in a condo right on the beach. It was a pretty nice place, but the fact that it was right on the beach made it awesome!!!
We didn't really do too much besides go swimming, relax and go out to dinner! We got a little Carvel cake for Kaelyn on Tuesday night so Nannie and Uncle Mike could celebrate her birthday with her! She loved it! I loved the beach. It was so different from our beach due to the fact that it's the Gulf of Mexico and MUCH calmer than our beaches here are. Kaelyn loved it! She had so much fun jumping the little waves and splashing around. She is a little fish in the water. We found some really cool shells and some live sand dollars. Of course we left them in the ocean. I didn't want them to die!!! We stayed for three nights and returned home on Thursday night. Actually, we left Thursday morning around 11 am but I just HAD to stop at the outlet mall in Orlando. I got back to our town around 6 pm but Kohls was having their grand opening, so I had to hit that too! We got home around 8:30 ish. Andrea was happy to see us! I brought her this cute little flamingo thing for her room. She loves flamingos!! And, of course she did just fine by herself at home since she is such a trustworthy kiddo. I have absolutely NO fear about leaving her here for a few days here and there. She is a very capable girl with an excellent head on her shoulders. She's a keeper, that's for sure!
Saturday Kaelyn went to a birthday party for one of the sets of twins in her class. Two little boys named Jacob and Dylan. It was at this ice skating place and she had a ton of fun! I was so happy their mom invited her. They are the little fellas who wrote Kaelyn her first love letters...sooooo cute! I really like their mom and dad too so when Kelly comes home we are going to hang out together!!
Speaking of when Kelly comes home....we still have absolutely NO idea when he will be home. I MISS HIM AND I WANT HIM BACK HOME NOW!!! I do know that's not possible and at least he's proud of me for how things are running back here w/him being gone! I WISH HE COULD BE HERE THIS COMING WEEKEND FOR HIS BABY'S BIRTHDAY!!!!! There is no way in hell he will be back for that. He won't be making it to her party or home in time for Halloween either. UGHHHHHHH!! Sometimes life as a military wife just plain SUCKS, but I knew that going in. And I wouldn't trade my marriage, my husband, or my military life for anything in the world. EVER!! It's all worth it in the end!
This coming weekend should be a lot of fun though. Andrea took the whole weekend off because we may be going to stay up in a Disney hotel on Fri or Sat night for Kaelyn's birthday. We are going to have so much fun at Disney together. I get to be with my two princesses!!! Awwwwwww!! I know Kaelyn is going to have a wonderful birthday.
Well...time for me to go to sleep. I am exhausted!!! I am getting up and hitting the gym HARD tomorrow morning since I missed most of last week!
Ohhhh...something I thought was cute that Andrea told me today. She said her boyfriend's cousin came up to her at lunch on Friday and said that her boyfriend told him that her mom is a MILF. She said yeah, she's a MILF. Then she showed him a family picture as well as a pic from our trip to Orlando. He said I am definately a MILF, then he passed the pic all around to a bunch of kids. Andrea told me they all said I was a MILF and that I'm a hottie!!
How cute is that??!! I'm a soccer mom and I'm a MILF too!!!!
