Have you ever been prompted to update your virus or spyware definitions? Yes? Okay, have you ever been prompted to update your virus or spyware definitions via an "Update" button that... doesn't do anything? 'Cause I have now. It's not exactly preferable, in my opinion, when your only means of updating something that needs to be updated doesn't work. Indeed my protection program does interact with my internet on occasion, but from what I can tell this update is not performable off-program (see: through forcing the internet to do it). Their recommendation? Uninstall. Reinstall.
Here's why I'm not going to put myself through that:
1) Inconvenience. I'm sorry, but if you can't make a button that does it's job, why should I waste ump-time of my perfectly good day off?
2) Usage periods. I bought this with a three-year usage. Each of these years I'll have to reinstall it anyway. Why should I cut myself short a few months because, again, your coding guy can't code a button?
3) I want to art. Yeah. I said it. I finally had the urge to... do something worth my time. And now I'm all disconcerted.
Can Microsoft do nothing right? I knew I should have waited for a Mac...
MOVING ON.
Two movies
smacked me with a fish yesterday. Firstly, DragonBall.
The EFFING MOVIE. How am I so sheltered?
This represents what I actually expect from such a film.
Now how can we top that? Oh, I don't know... A DONNIE DARKO SEQUEL?
WTF?! It was like eerily cool movie discovery day yesterday.
Goku? Kamehameha, white boy!
DRAGONBALL. MOVIE. The boy I have locked away deep inside me (that's what
he said) is bouncing around like a big ball of flubber. It's almost hard to describe my excitement. I haven't seen the
original show in ages, and DBZ made me want to kill myself slowly (but not nearly as slowly as the show's pacing...), but GAWD. Have you seen how many caps I've used already? It's ridiculous.
Thing is, I've already got a beef: Bulma's hair. It ain't blue. That makes me blue.
Have some set pictures. S. DARKO. Umm... I don't actually have a real opinion yet.
Richard Kelly has nothing to do with it, and that screams "be sceptical." At least one of the original actors (if not the most important one, and that's not Jake Gyllenhaal ladies and gay-version-of-me. Sorry.) has returned to reprise their roll.
At least this makes me happy.
What a day! Now if only I could push this button...
