Alrighty folks, I've got a sewing machine that I must get rid of!! It's totally free, but non-working. It's a 1940 1200-1 Singer Professional Machine. This is a semi-industrial version of the 201. The treadle like base is the speed control and has a knee lever to lift the presser foot. It sewed a few stitches and then stopped working, but I have a feeling the problem is electrical because the wiring is all original. As a special incentive, I am including a full box of singer feet--that's right, a ruffler, several rolled hemmers, a cording foot etc. Check out the picture. This box of feet sells for $20 or more on ebay...but I really want to get this machine out of my house. I just don't have the room for it!!
Take a look at the pics, and feel free to ask me any questions. If no one wants it by tonight, then I'm posting a curb alert on craigslist and putting it outside tomorrow morning (minus the feet that i'll sell on ebay for gas money).
cheers!
