Tuesday Top 10: Reasons I Want to Keep Bullet
Eh, I don't really have any in particular I want to do right now, and the issue is on my mind. So here are the Top 10 Reasons I Want to Keep Bullet - preferably driving regularly if possible.
1: Sentimental value: I've had this car for 14 years! Memories! Passengers! Places!
2: It's a Supra! A MKII at that! I don't know what kind of good crack Toyota laced these with...they're addictive, and I do get withdrawals.
3: I'm an 80s sports car kid. And these are SPECIAL while still being unmistakeably 80s.
4: A Supra will spoil you for everything else. Too ugly, too slow, too exposing, too fat....
5: Handling! This car is FUN to drive, even within "boring" legal limits, and it's nice to be able to GTFO of the way of someone who's being stupid.
6: It still embarrasses little street jocks. This is STOCK, 1985, you stupid little punks! Prepare to be LEFT BEHIND.
7: All the little detail goodies for convenience and safety - a foot light, keyhole light, recessed dome lights, automatic headlight shutoff, NOT being able to lock your keys in the car if the keys are in the ignition....
8: Smooth and quiet, when running properly. I hate noisy cars (especially on purpose, ugh).
9: Headturning, noticeable, and bondworthy: Supra owners get noticed and admired, especially by other Supra owners, and are often the envy of others.
10: I'm "Supraman's daughter." His other daughter is also a Toyota fan, but I'm the Supra nut of the two of us.
