Friday afternoon continued with two more panels, one on Cowley and the other on AUs in the Pros fandom. Our discussion leaders, przed and snowhite, did a great job getting every one to participate and the discussions were lively--lots of thoughtful comments, lots of laughter and bawdy jokes too.
We took a supper break, then returned for our first round of games in the weekend. I put together a trivia contest that mixed the easy with the hard ("the small print") and the visual with the non-visual. The teams worked well together and the eventual winners managed to get about 8 more answers correct than the second place team, so it was a clear victory--but everyone playing really knew their Pros and had a lot of fun. One section of the quiz was "They're Well Equipped" and players had to remember which games or sports they had seen the Lads talking about or actually playing.
Krisserci5 had games that kept us alert and laughing for the rest of the evening: a jigsaw puzzle and mystery game, a memory game, Pros against Humanity, and a Pros version of Scattergories. We took turns, moving around the room, so that everyone got a chance to play at every station. We also had a "pin the junk on the hunk" game which required people to draw their own life-sized (or sometimes bigger than life-sized) "male equipment" which they then, blindfolded, pinned to our extremely large picture of Bodie and Doyle.
I'm trying to remember if we watched an episode after the games concluded or not. Can't recall. But Friday was a great kickoff to the weekend and people were really getting into their Pros!
