Green Experiment 5: Hair mousse
Why switch? Organic products are generally better for the environment. Whether this particular product mitigates any health risk factors is unknown.

The product I tested: Kiss My Face Hold Up Styling Mousse bought at The Cupboard for about $6.99.
The results: Total failure! The product claims it has a "light" level of hold, but on my thick hair, even several large handfuls of the stuff failed to achieve more than a slight reduction in frizz or hold the style for more than a few hours at best. It did give me lots of volume, however. So much so that I looked like I had stuck my finger in a light socket by day's end.
rycor814 tested it as well (his hair isn't frizzy and is much straighter) and found it wanting of any beneficial effects.
Conclusion: Unless you have very thin, fine hair, this product will be a waste of money.
