My ICD went off again

After my last hospital stay, they implanted an internal defibrillator in me. I was resistant but they really pressed that it's important and helpful. It has two modes. The first is the one where it shocks me to get my heart beating again, which hopefully I will not experience. The second is the one where my heart gets out of rhythm and it sends out a pulse to correct it. I've had the second function kick in (and work!) in December and then again earlier this month. I didn't even notice it happening. I could have been asleep. They remotely monitor this at the hospital so they told me it happened.

The bad part is that I don't have health insurance. Apparently, hiring "full time" is up to managers and mine don't want to do it for people until they have their HCA license. Then it takes 90 days for HR to activate. This makes me angry. Mainly because every other b.s. employer out there gives benefits after 90 days. I'm not sure how they can even get away with giving people full time hours and denying them benefits. Other than something about employer being a non-profit. They definitely have over 50 employees. I may have to retain a lawyer if this nonsense continues.
