Adjustment
I'm having to adapt to not only working different hours, but an entirely different way of working. It didn't take 6 months to realize I needed out of the bakery and now here I am - working overnight, sitting at a desk, typing away.
Slinging baking pans at 6 am and working 9 hour days under very uncomfortable conditions. Compared to listening to people snore and doing some light housework. I'm mainly here in case something goes wrong. Which I hope it doesn't, since I've only begun my education to get certified.
Tomorrow night I'm taking Heather out for teriyaki. She's the one person I can rant to about whatever is bothering me. She herself is rarely bothered by anything but listens well. And I don't go on excessively. Just enough to process my experience and figure out an action plan.
