The honeymoon really is over
I didn't give notice to move and after a few days to reflect, that's probably the smart move. Right now I'm back to being focused on getting a job here. The cats, that's who I can count on. Everyone else is outside the circle. So I need to take care of them and everyone else can piss off.
I got blown off for the entire weekend. That's a good way to trigger my indifference. Happy didn't last for very long at all. Excuses just don't cut it past a certain point and we're past that.
So I'm back to my regular business. I cope with being alone just fine - it's better than false hope. Far better.
