I can appreciate their sense of humor, devoting today to films about dysfunctional moms. Valentine's Day, they run films about murderous relationships in a similar vein.
Today I watched Aliens, which to me, is a positive-affirming film about maternal instinct. Because Ripley overcame her trauma and kicked major ass. Is it a good idea to duct tape a flamethrower to a pulse rifle/grenade launcher? Maybe not.
I've noticed that no one on Facebook has anything less than glowing to say about moms, so best keep anything like that here.
