I just got a call from an attorney about being an expert witness in a case. I just came right out and told him that I haven't actually done that before (after he asked my rates!), and he should check with my old major professor. He said he had done that, but if that person did not contact him, he might call me back about doing it anyway, if I was interested.
It's just crazy to think of myself as an 'expert' in something, although I really am in this tiny sub-area...WEIRD!
