I miss HBO
Why am I awake at 5 am? It's because I just got the first season of True Blood (which I never would have had to wait for if I actually still had HBO). Who doesn't freaking love the Sookie Stackhouse books (thank you for being so amazing Charlaine Harris. I don't know how I'd entertain myself without you, JR Ward, and Laurell K Hamilton. Summer college? No way.)? Hopefully, it won't disappoint me (especially with the new season coming out).
Then again, the only vampire movies that have ever REALLY been a let down have been Queen of the Damned (got pissed and stopped after the opening scene in which MARIUS creates Lestat. Hello, where's MAGNUS? Okay. That was totally nerdy, but it pissed me off since the book was so painful and time consuming, but totally worth reading. They could've at least hired someone to check with Anne Rice or read it and The Vampire Lestat.) and (obviously) Twilight. Don't get me wrong, Twilight was watchable, but they could have done WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better.
