bubbley stars!
I realized the strangest thing today..or tonight, i should say. i was walking home from jordan landing a few hours ago with amber and kim and some guy they called sparkles, and it was really busy and full of traffic and lights and people. amber and kim were chatting and stuff and for some reason, i look up...and i saw...STARS. isnt that incredible that you can see stars, smack in the middle of the city? that strikes me as insane...right in the middle of bright lights and cars and everything man-made, you can look up on a really clear night and see things that are billions of miles away...and somehow much bigger and severed from this pathetic little human existance we all lead...
i just find that amazing...that you can be eating french fries one minute, laughing and chatting with friends at a wendy's and glancing over every two seconds at the guy with amazingly pretty eyes who took your order, and the next minute...be outside, looking up at orion, the stars in his anatomy burning so faaaaaaaar away and exist in that inky black universe that goes on forever...Isnt it wierd that we, with our own little human worries and habits and machines, can exist under this giant black space of burning gas giants, under the stars? and even wierder that we never think twice about it?
