We're moving!

But not far. Seriously. Our new place will be less than a 10 minute walk from our current flat, which is awesome as we won't need to move doctor's and it is right by the school Megan works at.

So here is the flat that we have decided to let! We went flat hunting on Saturday and after seeing some pretty heinous places, we finally were shown this flat that we are very excited about. The landlord got back to us with his decision today and has proclaimed us "ideal tenants".

Here's the kitchen. It's much larger than our current kitchen and has plenty of cupboard space for all our cooking needs. It'll be great to be able to do our laundry at home and not have to use student washing machines that take £1 coins. I also love that it's open planish~ enough to give the illusion of more space whilst still feeling like a separate and distinct room.

The living room. We'll be renting it unfurnished and the only thing we don't have as yet is a sofa, so we'll need to get one of those. Very much looking forward to having a living room, as being in a studio currently, we just spend all our time on the bed. I'm also very pleased that the wall is painted a light colour - close enough to white that I'll be able to set up my projector and project straight onto the wall to play games and watch films.

The bedroom. You can't see it in this photo - but there is a HUGE wardrobe on the other wall. Huzzah for space! Also very pleased that the bed won't be against the wall on one side, as I have really detested having to climb out of the bottom of the bed or over Megan for the past three years.

The bathroom. WITH AN ACTUAL BATH. Guys. I think this must be the most exciting thing for me. I love baths. Showers just don't cut it (although it does have a shower attachment on the wall you can't see, so Megan shall still be happy). BUT I WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE A BATH!

It even has its own mini garden. We'll need to make some adjustments~ as we have agreed for the rabbits to live in the garden when we move... in honesty, they will likely continue to live inside with us, but we'll need to at least make it look like they live in the garden. Plus it would be nice for them to spend some time outside. So we'll need to get something for their feet - a mat or something, because those stones would not be fun for them and a nice big hutch and run.

EXCITED!

We get the keys 30th July and officially move out of our current flat on 20th August. So plenty of time to move all the stuff and have our check-out inspection.
