Like me, I'm certain you've all seen and heard about the situation in Japan. I thought it was really bad. I didn't quite realise just how many earthquakes there were though till I read a
press release from North Korea (You'll have to click through the link due to really crappy site design). Every now and then I dig through some of these North Korean press releases as they are so biased and frequently so poorly written it's funny, and as loose a grip on reality as you'd expect from the Hermit Kingdom.
This one however was surprisingly reserved and respectful. It said that Japan has had 197 aftershocks as of 9am on March 14th. I immediately thought 'bullshit' and looked for myself.
It wasn't.
The video below was made by a Geological mapping firm and put on the net by Google. It shows the seismic record for the past 3 days.
I think It's pretty self explanitory really.
