it's that time of the year
...for colds, unfortunately. Mine vaguely started this weekend...I felt better on Monday, but then Tuesday night everything went to hell. At least on Wednesday it was a half-day at work and then afternoon class, so I got home at 4pm and slept. Wednesday night I could barely sleep, so yesterday took off work and went to the doctor before it got worse. Got antibiotics and a steroid shot (??!)...apparently the shot helps to jump start the antibiotics..
I didn't feel a difference the rest of the day, except suddenly I woke up wide awake at 3:00am feeling 5x better than I had during the day. Guess it really did help the antibiotics kick in fast. The only thing that remains is a sore bum and 4 more pills to take....that's right - the shot was on my butt! High end of the butt, but still...the butt no less. There's like a 6" diameter of butt that is sore today :-P lol
I shall now resume eating this apple. :crunch crunch:
