I'm not yet dead!
Well I've been horribly absent from LJ, I know, and I'm sorry. There's been plenty going on but rather than try to get everyone caught up I'll just do a meme. Maybe I'll do a real post soon, but I doubt it. Suffice it to say I'm not so happy with my current living situation due to the drug abuse of some of my roommates, but I still personally like most of them so I don't want to apply for a change of rooms. Not to mention all the hassle that would be of packing up and moving.

Musical, but only the '05 revival. From what I've seen of the original staging I would probably prefer the film. What did you think of the film? Blood could have been more realistic, Sweeney could have been played better by another actor, though her singing wasn't the best, Helena was completely the star of the movie. What did you love most? Just after "By the Sea" when Sweeney puts his hand on Mrs Lovett's knee, as if trying to make himself feel something, then removing it as if saying "Nope, this does nothing for me." What did you love least? Johnny. Just disappointing in his singing and I was surprised by how much I didn't care for his acting. How many times have you seen it (so far)? Once.
