I Want to Break Free...
so this week is going to fucking suck.
my grandpa died last night. ok before you all go "Awww Brien you poor dear" listen, yes it is very sad, but i knew the guy three days out of every year so i'm not sad. yes that is horrible, but i'm not sad. my sister is so pissed at me for not caring, i do care i just wasn't close to him. do you get what i mean?
anyhoo
so the showing is tomorrow, and the funeral is wednesday. so guess what that means? the second partial week of school, and we are going to be absent until friday. RAWR. we are going to have so much shit to catch up on already. whooohooo anyone notice how selfish that whole last bit sounded? *sigh* whatever.
EDIT: so i have been assigned as a pallbearer. if you know what that is bravo. if not, it is one of the people that must carry the casket from the hearse into the church, then after back into the hearse, then at the cemetary, from the hearse to the grave site. and my friends this is a moment in history, i liked my father more then my mother for a few moments because he said if i didnt want to, i didnt have to. my mom already told my aunt this morning that i'd be doing it. FUCK YOU MOM. gah. i hate this. i just want to be home. it's up to you to decide where home is.
erin i need to talk to you about doing the renassance(sp?) fair this SATURDAY. but my mom said its ok. as long as we can go on saturday, i have to work sunday. so get ahold of those you need to and see if saturday is a-ok.
PS. i called nikki last night and talked to her for a bit. regardless of what she said, i'm sure i called at a bad time. CRAZINESS!! but it sounded like they were having fun. *hugs* i love you nikki.
PPS. last night was an O'Brien/O'Bryan family reunion at my uncles lake house. they shipped my brother, sister and i up there so we werent around the impending death. THAT SIDE OF MY FAMILY ROCKS! ok so yes, they are all crazy catholic, but they are also hardcore democrats! w00t! my uncle was talking about him going to clubs and dancing with all the women and gay guys to "It's Raining Men". OH! and they have "LOGO" the all gay channel so when no one was around i watched a bit last night and this morning. i have two movies i need to rent now because i only saw bits of each. "Prom Queen" with shawn ashmore as an uber gay guy(!!! *drool*) and "Doing Time on Maple Drive" about some guy who tries to kill himself because he doesnt want his parents to know he's gay. it has jim carey in it.
PPPS. the other day we went to walmart(eww...the grossest walmart ever, so white trash) anyhoo i bought an awesome 80s CD with pat benatar's "We Belong" and i bought "Queen: Live at Wembly Stadium".

oh and i got a really sad-ish/sweet/odd message on mysapce. its hard to describe, but it was sorta sweet.
