ok...once again i have waited oh so long for updating and my knowledge of time has slipped, so bear with me on this. EDIT: wooo! i remember!
Friday: went to the family/friend night at school for band/color guard. it was rather good. and i got to see erin and BRITTNI!!!! (see brittni gets all caps because it was the first time i've seen her all summer, and here we are starting school tomorrow.) anyhoo, during the performance i got to sit with erin's family. then there is a part where a family member/friend goes onto the field and follows their respective band/color guard student around. that was interesting since i was the lucky one for erin. i did pretty well, hell, i didnt fall down like the three or four others that did. then the band kids left and while i waited for their return, i got the "what are your goals in life?" talk from erin's stepdad. wheeee...BTW:i dont really want to play the "are we dating or not" game. erin and i are NOT dating. anyhoo...the kids returned and i got to meet the whole group. they are crazy!
Saturday: i went to hershey park with lauren, kathryn, and jason. tremendous amounts of fun! i cant remember everything we rode/what order, but i do remember a few random things:(1)water ride first, wet all day.(2)creepy pervert guy in line starring at/checking out these 8 year old girls in bikinis in front of us.(3)painful rollercoaster.(4)WOOOOOOT tilt-a-whirl!!!!! we got that thing going so fast, we got off and couldnt walk right.(5)swings!!(6)arcade games= KNUCKLES.(7)log flume....etc etc etc, great fun.
Sunday: erin came over and helped paint our living room. and we fnally watched "But I'm a Cheerleader" which has taken forEVER. not a whole lot to talk about. we painted, for hours. then we ate dinner and watched the movie. then i burned erin a copy of Scissor Sisters.
Monday: more painting...OH! but my sister and i watched "Chicken Run" i LOVE(!!!) that movie!
Today(tuesday): dawson's creek....must watch....dont want to but MUST....this show is so preachy/whiny but i cant help but watch. in the first episode, the gay kid(not yet gay) named Jack had to reasd his poem he wrote, and it was a very beautiful poem about his idea of perfection....as a guy. I'M NOT GAY I PROMISE....anyhoo he cried, ran out of the classroom. everyone in the school is making fun of him, his girlfriend is freaking out because she knows even though he wont say so. and FOR ONCE i liked pacey because he stood up to the bastard teacher for causing Jack to cry. meh...and i'm trying to find the poem online because it really was wonderful....i cant find it...*sigh* oh well..
this show makes me sad. but most of the people are pro gay rights and that is good, too much "god" talk though..Favorite Characters: Jack McPhee and Jen Linley
LOVE
