hahaha i love how the quotes make it sound sarcastic, photobucket is sassy
some art farting (large and nsfw):
so i might as well say that this past week was my first week of classes. this this the first semester i have to go 5 days a week so i was ultra stressed but i'm alright now. a quick overview of my classes:
Art History (tues/fri, 2-3:30pm) - looks promising. the professor's very chill. Art History was one of my favorite classes in high school, and while i'm fully expecting this to be more difficult, i hope it's just as interesting.
Social Issues (wed, 3:45-6:15pm) eh. my only 3 hour class this time around. the professor is...a little eccentric. she seems nice enough, but her teaching style's a little irritating. i feel like she WANTS us to argue, which most of the class is uncomfortable with (myself included). she claims it's to help us "think" but imo it just leads to people getting frustrated with each other. the course already covers a bunch of uncomfortable issues, is it necessary to make us feel even more awkward? not much i can do about it; it's a required course so there's no alternative. w/e, i'll figure a way to manage.
Environmental Science (mon/thur, 11am-1:30pm) this could actually be pretty cool! admittedly i signed up for it foremost because the other sciences require labs, which i would bomb, but i am interested in the subject matter over say, chem or bio. the building we have is new and green, so it has really pretty windows everywhere. seats are also new and COMFY, haha. the prof sounds very organized, straightforward, and generally nice so i'm happy about that.
i had a US History course too, but dropped it for various reasons. it just wasn't working out. i'd rather do alright in 3 courses than do terrible in 4.
but yeah that's a little boring info. i really hope this semesters better than the last one!
