Sooo...! Some pretty cool stuff's been going on, although we still haven't hit "awesome level" yet. It's getting there, though! It seems like there really are a lot of fighters hanging around, just like Professor said. Got lots of sparring and practice offers, but I still need to hunt down a teacher so they don't beat the crap out of me by accident when we finally go at it. Nall and I are looking into that, and if worst gets worse, I guess we'll be teaching ourselves. It can't be that hard, right? I'm sure it's as easy as teaching yourself how to swim or climb trees or wrestle wild boars or something.
Anyway, more news! I finally got a job as a lumberjack! Yeah, yeah I know, it's not very dignified or anything and it's really sweaty work, but someone's gotta do it, and it seems like there's a demand. I mean, pretty much nobody is gettin' any wood for this place! So, yours truly, Lloyd-- err... Lloyd! will now be delivering your firewood and lumber! Pretty cool, right? Not "awesome", but kinda neat. It'll be a good way to get in shape for my sword training, anyway, so I'm excited!
