Hitting the bottle

A few weeks ago, during the neighborhood yard sale, Dave and I were walking around a few blocks away from our house when he noticed some construction guys looking around one of the many new house sites in the area. Usually we don't pay much attention to such things, but this was different. They weren't working, they looked as if they were searching the ground for something. So me, being the busy body I am, asked what they were doing. They replied that both of them were bottle collectors and they had found hundreds of old bottles while excavating for the house foundation. I asked to join them and proceeded to collect about 50 bottles over the next few days. It was really cool.
