Fuck-y-does, Does-y-fuck

the gig in southampton went extremely well. we sold out the joiners which i believe is a hard thing to do, especially on a monday night, but we freaking did it. i was very impressed with the response we had and again, the fact that everybody was friendly as hell.
when we were getting food, this small chinese girl approached me and asked if she could wait with us until her friends showed up. i agreed and carried on with my daily business. did her friends show up?? did they hell. i was stuck with a mute all night. i think that might have been our first ever groupie. if that was the case, then im very pleased!

camden was better than amazing. we set off at 1pm with a coach full of people...it quickly turned into a massive binge of drugs, drink and smoke, which was cool i must admit, but by the time we got there everyone was totally fucked! everyone went there merry ways while the band and i set up the equipment...but by the time i had done a soundcheck and met people in wetherspoons, they were already being kicked out. everyone was rowdy and drunk - it may have been about 5pm at the latest.
many people wandered over to the camden rock cafe where we were playing. the bands that were on before us were good, but a little boring - not really my cup of tea. japonica were gutted cos their sound was all fucked up due to the sound guy being a knob socket. i felt bad for them cos they usually get everyone hyped up to fuck.

we got on stage and i gotta be honest, it was the best gig i've ever played in my life. im not sure if that was due to the eph25 i took 2 hours before going on stage or the fact that 50+ of our friends were there to fill the place out rowdy as fuck and make alot of noise, but i was fucking loving it. some guy from dirty pretty things was there who spoke to our manager during the show about future gigs etc. sounds promising.

on the way home i boffed. wether this was due to the excitment of the gig or the eph25 i took 5 hours previously, i dont know, but one thing i do know is that coach toilets arent the easiest place to be sick in. there was spew everywhere. i boffed-up the bottom of my stomach more than once. it seemed like i could swallow a bit of saliva from my mouth and my body would just reject it instantly. great!
well now i have tonsilitis, and another gig to play tonight in cardiff. i am, however, going to face the music as they say and play as hard as i can. i have 2 weeks to recover before another long line of gigs comes up.
these are the glory days my friends.
