finally, my own engagement photos.
i haven't posted much of ricky and i in the last few years, so it feels good to have these. my AMAZING angel of a friend, Arica, recently got into photography so while we were in california this month, i recruited her for this job. we ran out of time and good lighting at both locations, but she rocked it out! she was nervous, as was i. i'm awesome at posing other people, but when it comes to myself, i'm likely to freeze up and look like a goon. fortunately ricky loosened me up and had some great ideas.
this man and i have been through every obstacle you can imagine. i'm grateful to be where we are today and we're hoping to have a super fun, although non-traditional, wedding next summer.
