Salt gets in your eyes
Phuket was pretty cool - so many big and small things to be thankful for on the trip..
1. Weather - sunny and for the first time I didn't wake up with a runny nose.. I really loved the warm weather there
2. Room - spacious and cheap - the stairs helped me exercise!
3. Roommate - SE! one who helps clean off sandy beds in a jiffy. :)
4. Food - Everything is nice - and very kai1 wei4
5. Duration - Short, no time to argue hurhur
6. Pace - Fast, no time to argue. Hurhur!
7. Timing - Perfect in every way - from the slow breakfast at the airport on the first day to the mad rush to the airport on the last!
8. People - Friendly and funny - and it's really amazing caz we went on those day trips without any reference to websites, etc.. we just walked around and took the best price we could get..
9. Trips - Rather impromptu but everything fell into place so nicely. also the price was extremely good.. Went canoeing and also snorkeling - each trip was around 40+ per day? The place is really beautiful. I think the one that takes the cake though.. is the
10. Company - the very wonderful sisters who tolerated me, and found time to appreciate the humor in every situation.
we were singing gan3 xie4 shen2 throughout the whole trip! (albeit with revised lyrics - well it ended up more like a limerick actually) - but really there's so much to be thankful for. and now er expectations are running high for the next trip hopefully next year.. how ah? haha
