Now that I've only 9 work shifts left and therefore vast amounts of freetime ahead of me, I might as well do this here thing.
Day 01 - A show that should have never been canceled
Arrested Development
Clichéd, perhaps but honestly with almost all of my favourite shows, I think they either over-stayed their welcome on the airwaves or ended at exactly the right friggin' time. Even with Arrested, the brilliant and influential comedy show that deserves all the overhype it got and gets to this day, it's really not as so much that it needed another season, it's more like it needed not to be fucked with so relentlessly by the network and therefore get those stub-seasons. Three full seasons, perhaps even a fourth. That seems like an ideal run. Now it's a cult classic, hopefully gaining more and more fans on DVD but ...still. I was left wanting more.
And what the fucking fuck is happening with that movie? Jason Bateman needs to stop being an asshole and everybody else involved needs to get their shit together.
