A little over a week ago I read Watchmen, the well-known & widely acclaimed graphic novel soon to be coming out as a movie. I enjoyed it, even being a comics newbie as I am no doubt am, but didn't feel like making a post because I didn't have much to say apart from the few "this I didn't like" type remarks. I liked it enough, anticipate the movie and was especially fond of the ending.
In
Issue 2 of Geek in the City Radio, the guys discussed morality, who's the hero and who's the villain in Watchmen, as the question is not as clear cut as in other comic books. They asked for feedback and listeners' thoughts on the whole discussion via audio files, and since the discussion sparked some thoughts in me, I recorded some of my thoughts and sent them over.
In
Issue 4, the latest podcast, they played it! Apparently I was the only dork to send in an mp3. So go download and listen to my newly-found podcast fame! :D
I sound like a 10 year old. The problem is probably at my end, since my microphone is actually that of a cheapass webcam, but still.
If you want to just hear my segment, here it is on imeem:
SPOILERS FOR WATCHMEN, obviously.
