I've been slacking posting this for like, um, months and months, but here it is, finally! I don't have spiffy graphics but nevermind that.
SPOILERS FOR HEROES S1!!!
aishiteru - a hiro/charlie fanmix
1. I never see you

~ Blur - Yuko & Hiro
Ethereal Britrock. Because the song title says Hiro, and some of the other lyrics refer to the mundane existence Hiro had prior to his awesome time-space-continuum bending times.
2. we can't choose where we bloom.
fragile hero, everyone has something to protect

~ The Back Horn - Requiem
Somewhat heavy sounding Japanese rock. Off the Casshern OST, and translation credit is to centigrade-j. Obviously represents the angsty side of Charlie/Hiro. :(
3. so I cannot forget four seasons we've lived in
I will go across all the seasons alone without you
so I cannot forget four seasons we've lived in
even that sky too, embraces the sorrow
~ w-inds - Shiki
Light melodic Japanese pop. Unitalized parts are sung in English. Translation credit to this place. Man, this is such an angsty fanmix.
4. and I'm leaning on this broken fence between past and present tense
and I'm losing all those stupid games that I swore I'd never play
but it almost feels okay
~ The Weakerthans - Aside
Canadian indierock. Quite simply, it reminded me Hiro. And this fanmix needed some English songs, too.
5. even if I’m scared I’ll be okay
the wisdom of this clear sky
is here now all the time
I didn’t cry when I saw you in the past
because the sky was clear.
~ Ai Otsuka - Planetarium
Melodic hopeful Japanese pop. Maybe these lyrics are stretching but seriously, I'm astounded I managed to find three semi-fitting songs in my tiny Japanese music collection. Plus I love the mood of the song. It lightens up this awfully angst-focused fanmix. Translation credit to this person.
6. the sun is out, the sky is blue,
there's not a cloud to spoil the view
but it's raining .. raining in my heart
the weatherman says clear today
he doesn't know you've gone away
~ Buddy Holly - Raining in My Heart [sendspace]
Rock'n'roll at its best. I'll admit it, I could only find sad death-related songs for this fanmix. But Hiro/Charlie is partly about that - the tragedy that sometimes it's just too late and you can't even get to make out with the one with you love can't help it. Ahh. Also, after the Planetarium lyrics, the sky metaphor continued logically. Somewhat. Um. It's my first fanmix. :D
