This isn't the intro post I mentioned earlier, more like trying to map out how all the doramas I've watched rate against each other. With pictures! So I suppose it could also work as something to make y'all curious about these

If you wanna watch a drama with Kim Rae Won in it, I heavily suggest Which Star Are You From. He's awesome in that one and it's one of my favorites. Also it has Ryeo Won who was in SamSoon.

Have you seen Prince Turns to Frog (TW), Delighful Girl Choon Hyang (Kor), Lovers in Paris (Kor) , or Silence (TW). Silence has Vic in the lead role. It's my favorite role of his so far. His acting has greatly improved since his Meteor Garden days.
If you like Prince Turns to Frog - you might like Save the Last Dance (Kor). It's generally the same story, only less comedy and more drama.
PTF is still for me the best of the best though!!

If you like My Girl, you should like Choon Hyang. It's hilarious and cute. The couple in it are one my #1 favorite Kdrama couples ever!! Before the Goong drama came out and I had only been reading the manhwa, I always thought the couple in this drama reminded me somehow of Shin and Chaegyung....well bits in the storyline did anyway. ^--^

I liked Sweet 18. I haven't seen the movie yet, but the drama is good until the last few episodes where Han Ji Hye feels like she should have a goal in life other than marriage. That part is absolute filler and just slowed the drama. As for Nodame, you should keep watching it. It gets really, REALLY GOOD. After episode 2, watching it was like reading a good book that you just can't put down. Definitely, one of the best jdoramas I've seen in a long time. I was beginning to lose hope.

Nobuta and Full House are good. Meteor Garden starts off good but drags. It was revolutionary back in its day though. ^D^ The Rose is okay but not as good as Hana Kimi or ISWAK. I still haven't even finished watching it yet. I left off at the beginning of the second part of the series. One day I might catch up, I still have the vcds back at home. :D

I did look at Attic Cat and What Star Are You From and both looked promising. Thanks for the rec, it seems very nice. :)

I've heard of Delightful Girl, yeah, seems like my thing. I'll check it out eventually.

See, that's what bugged me about Sweet 18 - she had no goal except to marry. I can't relate to that. And yeah, I'll keep watching Nodame. :)

I suspect you wouldn't like Silence, because you are more into the fluffy fun stuff and it's total AAAANNNGGGSSST. I managed to watch it all the way through, but for example dangermousie who is usually all about angst and is a big VZ fan hasn't made it through the series.

Oh, I'm not even considering that one for the obvious reasons. ;) Will find my VZ kick elsewhere if I need to.
