But he's Yamapi!!
But I'm a prejudiced whore! And I don't love him in Kurosagi and I don't find him hot, either. And JE RPS isn't a concern, really. It's just one side of Japanese culture I'm sketchy about (I've seen videos of JE bands and omfg >_<).

YOU WITH YOUR TENNIS.

Smiling Pasta gets its name from the pasta restaurant that the heroine family owns. There's a dish called "Smiling Pasta" because it makes people happy. XD! The plot itself is about a girl who's cursed because all her relationships never last more than three months.. Then she gets mistaken for a popstar's girlfriend and the two make a pact to pretend to be going out. What annoyed me was the hero's younger brother and the hero's ex, and the exaggerated fight scenes. *rolls eyes*

Re: Jiro. Well, there's ISWAK, another "he-doesn't-get-the-girl"-role and KO One will get subbed veeeery soon. And Tang Yu Zhe? Yeah, he's pretty ace. He'll be Summer x Summer which I'll be checking out when it gets subbed. I love these idol dramas. It's like everyone is in everything with everyone!

OMG dude share the HK screencaps!

:((! I don't know if I really find him 'hot' either. I'm always browsing the yamapi_daily comm and they post pics where he's pouring water over himself or whatever and I'm like, ... what is this shit. But I want him to make funnyfaces forever. :( He's so cute! Hey, a lot of the kpop bands are weird too! I think all of these mass-marketed boyband groups are kind of odd. But Nobuta! It is fluffy and heartwarming! Also, the cinematography in it is really really awesome. So many cool angled shots and pretty frame composition... :D

TENNIS IS <3. You should check it out! (Join radiantballs -- lolz comm name -- and you can download the first ep and see what you think...)

Aww! Happy pasta! That sounds so strange and cute. Am sad it was not very good.

I will totally look for dls of this ISWAK. Is it on crunchyroll or does it have a subbing group website? Yes! Him! I found a photo gallery of him through google. So much happiness. And I didn't know he, like, sang and stuff too. Even more exciting! *_*

I should do a screencap picspam post!! I am midway through ep 7 now. I was so shocked when Senior Nan showed up wearing a sweater of a different color. What is this madness. :O I don't like the alternate subber, though. I was confused enough as it was with the names and now they've gone off and messed with them some more. :\\\

Hey, a lot of the kpop bands are weird too!
True, true. I take all Asian pop with several grains of salt because they're just as if not more produced than those 90's boybands/girlbands here in the West. You know, with their own created images, one is the "sporty" one, "the sweet one" etc. It's ridiculous. But amusing, too. Something about the costumes on jpop bands hurts my eyes, though. I think Fahrenheit and S.H.E look ridiculous in their videos, often, too, but at least I can bear watching them. (Plus S.H.E are just teh cutest ever omg.)

I know a place where I can watch it, if I want to, thanks. :)

Well you can check the first ep on youtube. It's pretty exaggerated but semi-cute. I'm bit of an elitist with dramas - if it's "just" okay, I don't have the patience. It has to be good or something.

Yeah, Jiro and Wu Zun (Quan on Hana Kimi and if your name memory fails you, high jumper guy ;D!) are in the same ubercommercialized boyband. They're sort of second tier as far as actual skills in music/dancing/etc goes but I like some songs more than healthy and god, I'm just a popfiend. Here's an MV of the boyband (featuring Hebe from the band Ella's in, S.H.E - yeah, welcome to Asian pop where everybody is in everybody's videos): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pVMvxjq__Q

ISWAK should be on youtube and crunchyroll. Also silentregrets.com probably has download links.

Lainemma to SUBlimes guide:
Reixi = Rui Xi
Siu Yi = Xiu Yi
Jian = Quan
EK = Ying Kai (school name)
Mei Tien = Mei Tian

Hmmm I think those are the most important differences. Then there are some fairly understandable small changes like the ghost boy is Da Shou but also romanized as Da Sho or something. I think senior Nan is the same in both.

Yay picspam! Hahahaha, he had to wash the other sweater. Or get rid of the evidence after talking to a girl who proceeds to immediately get pregnant.

Hahaha, the costumes are pretty insane. I was watching an Arashi music video thing yesterday where they're wearing shiny silver suits and dancing in a line under a rainbow.... D: I've never been hugely interested in music videos in general, but the Asian ones are sort of cracktastically captivating.

That video!! I love the emoticon bubbles. *___* Will totally have to check out more from them.

Asian MV's can be really neat. Have you checked out the two Hana Kimi related ones? I love them both, the opening song is just ridiculously adorable and the ending song is equally so, but more dramatic. Many Asian MV's have incredible concepts and actual stories and awesome cinematography and yeah, *love*.

It's such a cute vid, especially with the emotican bubbles, yeah. I also like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTar6MA-4Ps&mode=related&search=
