Sooo, I saw Jaan-e-Mann. Lengthy, detailed & spoilerous write-up below. If you're looking for a non-spoilerous sum-up of the film, here you go: It's good. Oh, gosh. What can I say but that I love this write-up and agree with every word? It was so clever and funny and moving precisely because it didn't try to tug at your heartstrings.

When the DVD comes out I'd love to do a commentary-sort of post for this movie. Simply because it has so many lovely small things worth pointing out and fangirling - from set designs (there's a picture on the wall of Salman's Mumbai apartment that has him behind jail bars - priceles!!) to acting (which can be surprisingly nuanced considering this film has actors not known for their 'acting' - for example Salman always says he doesn't try to 'act').

Anupam is okay, some very funny jokes done at his dwarfiness' expense. Most of the teh funneh comes from Akki & Salman, though.
