The George Michael/Maeby Shipper Manifesto has been posted. Beware, it contains spoilers for all of the show, especially the ending of S3.

Not much else going on this side of the planet. 9 hours of work ahead. Yikes.

Oh, I read that one and I loved it. Then again, loved the couple.

I was kinda hoping for a mention of how both actors crossed over to Veronica Mars for an episode (even if it wasn't as GM/M).

Oh yeah, I forgot about that entirely. I don't follow Veronica Mars but I did see it mentioned in the GM/M comm. If the episode was good, I suppose I could download it or something.

I had no idea they would be on. First I was all "Oh, that's George Michael" and suddenly "OMGOMG; Maeby is there as well.". Also? GM's ex? The kinda bland Christian girl? I saw her as the step daughter in Thief and she is totally kicking ass. Seriously, I had no idea she had it in her ( ... )

Ooh, I like the actress of Ann, though I didn't like the character. Glad she's doing well!

Wow, that sounds like an ace episode. I don't know why I stopped watching VM, I watched the first five or so episodes and then lost interest. It was good but just not my thing, I guess, I'm more into comedy shows anyway.

I have to say that I'm quite satisfied with the mixture of snark and darkness on VM. But then again, I guess I like darker shows.

Thief on the other hand is very gritty and very dark. But "Ann" really has a great role. I'm amazed, she has her sullen moments like Ann, lots of angry confrontations, but she also had tender scenes with a boyfriend and she just looked beautiful and natural, even though she didn't change a thing. I was really impressed. Thief is fun in so far that so many familiar faces show up. Dina Meyers who was in Dragon Heart, Starship Troopers and Point Pleasant plays the mother, Sharona from Monk showed up, Richard from Sex and The City. Quite crazy in a way.

TV can be fun like that. I've seen so so many British comedy shows and I jump from joy every time an actor I know from some show visits another show I'm currently watching. They do that crossing over a lot. And I spotted a million British comedy actors from various shows in Love, Actually. Made the film a lot more enjoyable.
