I've got this thing with writing journals.

If I've got you friended, I'm not going to friend your writing journal, because I've got you friended. I suppose it's nice to be able to get all the fic in one place, but...isn't that what the memories are for?

Yeah, I know. I just don't want to lock any fic but I know a majority of my flist doesn't care about Harry Potter fanfiction so I feel a bit spammy posting it when they're just going to roll their eyes at it.

Eh. Honestly, so long as really long things are under cuts, I don't consider it spammy or annoying. It doesn't take that long to hit page down or scroll a bit more.

But this is *your* journal. You are the one entitled to post about whatever you are interested in at the moment, and if someone on your flist disagrees or finds it spammy, it's their job to leave, not yours to modify your own journal to match someone else's preferences.
I write about many, many things that most people on my flist will probably find less interesting, even boring, repetitive or spammy. Do I care? Not really. I created my journal to serve my own ends, and I do not want to maintain an image of myself that is untrue to both myself and the people on my flist who really have no idea, in the end, who I am, or what I do when I'm offline. It'd be terrible to hold back on writing or write about something else just to please my flist, or to try and prove them that hey, there's more to me than these few topics that I go over a gazillion times over.
The point in this being that you should not worry yourself with how your entry is perceived by your flist.

I clicked other because if you get a writings LJ, I'll friend it, but if you keep posting it here I'll read it too.

I initially voted yes, because I thought you meant, "should I keep posting fic on my journal, or should I post it somewhere else."

I changed my vote. Keep it here. You could always ask people to comment if they DON'T want to be on your fic filter, and then make one.

I don't want to lock anything - that's just the problem...

Wait. I think I mis-voted like Ken. *headdesk* If you want to group all your writing together, that is fine too, but I would keep both ljs friended in that case.

Re: website: That picture makes the text damn difficult to read. And where's our Pakicest? >:O >:O >:O

Damn, what browser you on? The div layers work fine for me.

I'm on a Mac. It messes up everyone's layouts. Even some of the lj ones look wonky to me.

THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE PAKICEST!

Fuck dem Apples. If you gotta rebel against MS, get Linux.

Sanni, I just feel like an idiot for not knowing/having read HP so I thought I wouldn't know what the stuff is about and don't read. I've always been tempted to, I just thought I wouldn't understand. Maybe I'll do anyway? Is it enough if I've seen the movies at least? :P I know, that's lame.

LUV! We're arriving on the same day. So see you on Sunday!

I know! Wow, around this time tomorrow I'll be at the airport! Hot.

Have you seen all the three movies? If yes, just go ahead and read the 4th & 5th book. They're the best in the series (the 1st & 2nd books are a bit childish anyway) and the movies are like ..summaries or something. A lot has been left out but most of the characters are there (apart from minor characters) but I think you should get the hang of it by just having seen the movies and having read 4th & 5th book.

After all, I read them in a really weird order, first 2nd, then 4th, then 3rd, then 1st, then 5th.
