10 random things about me.
1) I’d like to get a tattoo this year. I have an idea of what I’d like, but I’m just pretty freaked out about needles and pain. (So, in the end this might not happen)
2) 8 out of 10 people who know me say I’m not suitable for an office job. Go figure. Lol.
3) I use Vaseline lip balm.
4) My iPod’s name is Kei (an African name for White; at least, I think it is)
5) I collect the little slips of proverbs and poems from the Baci chocolate (which my eldest sister calls the chocolate with a ‘nipple’. Seriously.) I keep one slipped in between the keys of my keyboard at work. ‘Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none’- W. Shakespeare. You’d probably step on one if you walked into my room.
6) When I was young, I used to hate reading. I think I started reading when I only got to secondary school, and I’ve been hooked on books since. The latest book I read was ‘The Other Wind’, by Ursula Le Guin. It’s the fifth in the Earthsea series.
7) I have been questioned about my sexual orientation more than once. So… I guess I’m not easy to read?
8) I have a 200 CD collection.
9) I can play a bit of piano and Chinese zither. I’d like to learn the guitar next. (And how to drive, haha)
10) I have an over-vivid imagination. Give me an idea and I’ll run 10, maybe 20 miles with it. Something can happen in my life (e.g. I get a new job, and I have not seen my new office but I’d have already decided the colours of the walls of the office in my head,) and I’d think of all the possible scenarios that come up after and I’d pick the worse. I’m pessimistic that way.
