my mom had a scare a couple of weeks ago which resulted in her going back to the hospital's A&E department to check her status, as the normal clinic is just IMPOSSIBLE to book for an appointment without being 3/6 months in advance, and is not friendly for walk-ins. (don't get me started on their appointment hotline. they hire people just to tell us, "no." wtf)

So during the A&E appointment, the doctor tells my mom her cataract is growing, and coupled with her current medication, that might be the cause of her bout of blindness. (i kid you not. she woke up and couldn't see). so we're all like, "oh hey, okay her next appointment (made in july) is for Oct, so let's go see the doctor in Oct and see if there's been any changes."

then the clinic sends an appointment card saying that the Oct appt is now changed to Jan on DOCTOR'S REQUEST. erm. which doctor please? my mom has seen 4 - 5 doctors since the beginning of her clinic. and you wonder why patients like my mom refuse tests, appointments and even eyedrops?

because they don't see a blardy solution, that's what!
