i went for the peggy hsu showcase at the esplanade recital studio. small and cosy, well suited for her concept.
her band and her did well! it's my first time hearing her live, and she is quite good. it's nice that she sang "white wedding", i did hear that it was a song she no longer sang that often anymore. and the boys in the crowd singing along with her with gusto. i liked that her band looked genuinely surprised.
haha, we're happening people here too.
it's just sad i don't know much of her new songs. there's just something about her songs- that little bit of melancholy with the amazing lyrics one can seem to relate to.
and i also made up prettily for the day, but sadly my companions didn't end up dressing up sexily as we agreed, but they had good reason to. lol.
fake lashes give me one more layer of eyelids. two visible, one hidden. WEIRD.
