being offered the job of an accountant. thats what i compare this to. you are secure and taken care of. if you take the job, it would be predictable, yet comforting in the knowledge that it wont disappear. you'll be controlled, because really, how much freedom is there really when it comes to numbers, taxes, and the like. your boss will often be cruel, but not realize it. you are just overly sensitive because everything else is so monotonous.
