We went to Philly this weekend for the QFest gay film festival. I had Friday off because of the July 4th holiday, so we were there for three days. We saw six movies: THE STRING, BEAR CITY, PIGGIES, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT ALL, ROLE/PLAY, and IS IT JUST ME? They were all generally good movies, but I think we liked BEAR CITY the most. It was very hot on Friday so we sweated buckets. They had an after party at tabu, but we were hungry so we didnt stay upstairs long but went downstairs to eat. Saturday, it POURED buckets of rain and we got soaked on the way back from breakfast at IHOp before we bought umbrellas. Then, we didn't need them! Saturday evening, we went to dinner at Fork then headed back to the hotel. I ended up falling asleep and not waking up again till morning! Sunday, we checked out of the hotel and explored the Italian Market area, saw two movies, then headed to the Gayborhood for a block party but it seemed like we were a bit late as they were tearing things down when we got there. It was a good time and glad that we got to do this together.
