Overheard in a mall dressing room today:
Mom: "What do you think of those?"
Girl: "They make me look EXTREMELY SKINNY."
Mom: "So is it a 'yes' or a 'no'?"
Girl: "Definite NO!"
some time later...
Lady: "But I'd never wear my jeans that long. Other girls don't wear their pants that long, do they?"
Same girl (exasperated): "I'm NOT other girls. I've NEVER been other girls. It's my statement.."
(Is that why you're shopping in Maurices?)
more time later (I tried on a lot of jeans. :P)
Mom: "So are you done now? You only tried on, what.. seven, eight, nine.."
Girl: "Yeah, I GUESS so. I'm going to have to wear belts with ALL of these."
Lady: "Why?"
Girl: "My hips aren't big enough! Gosh!"
