Maybe this is stupid to even say this, because there's so much 'evidence' against me... But I'm so fucking sick of defamation against pitbulls.
German Shepherds, Rottweilers, and other intelligent, strong dogs have been discriminated against in the past. That day has come and gone. I understand that it's the pitbull's turn now, but I think this time it's different.
I think dog fighting and awful owners and people like Michael Vick have really fucked it up for families who own pitbulls and especially people like Jamie and I who will eventually look for a new apartment and have to fight against possible breed bans.
People who feed their pits gunpowder, people who abuse their pits, people who basically run pitbull puppy mills are literally ruining the lives of harmless, loved pitbulls by setting this negative stereotype, and it's hard for me to stomach.
I realize this is kind of out of the blue and probably a little too stream-of-consciousness, but I felt like I needed to get it out a little...
