I'm having a rough day today and I can't really put my finger on why. Probably because it's winter and I'm bored. But also probably because I haven't been in contact with David like usual.
I'm being a goober and listening to a saved voicemail from him on Tuesday because I miss his voice.
He texted me yesterday around 1:30p saying he was in Israel and safe; haven't heard from him since. I know, I know, barely 24 hours, yada yada.
For those who don't know, though, David and I text constantly. And we talk every night for at least an hour. And this has probably definitely been the longest he and I have gone without speaking since we've been dating, maybe even since we've known each other. Even when he and I broke up for a week, he and I still yelled and cried at each other on the phone every day for that entire week.
Sorry, this is gross.
At 5:00, I'm headed to my nephew Uvan's basketball game. Hopefully that'll be nice and distracting. Maybe I should try to take up knitting again.
Seriously, though, Cynthia, when you and I have time and money, we are 1. going to buy that Chutes and Ladders game and 2. going to go get cross-stitch supplies.
