I had been to a play called Love Letters by the much acclaimed theatre group Evam. I had heard that the play was nothing but a reading of a bunch of love letters. Now that didn't inspire me but I have seen plays by Evam before and I either enjoyed them or enjoyed them a LOT. But they were right about this one. Evam is actually a Chennai based group. They do tours to Bangalore. Don't think they perform in Mumbai. You can check out their website here

Sounds like "Tumhari Amrita" to me ! That's a fantastic play by Shabana Azmi and Farooq Sheik, in which they just read letters to each other. You must have heard of it...

is that based on the book by A Gurney? I have read that and its a nice read.

True, even their other play 'Art' was thought-provoking or rather made me analyse myself and how I would react in such a situation.
