Yes. I have a VERY SEXY wallpaper of Alex Kapranos. Well, the wallpaper isn't neccesarily sexy. It's Alex Kapranos that makes the wallpaper sexy. It's a very retro piece. And it took me a while to make because I was just experimenting. Like lots and lots of time. :)
And yes. I have lots and lots of icons of Diane Kruger. I could spend like hours looking at and saving pictures of celebrities. I save so many pictures, it's not even funny. I save whatever pictures I think will make good icons. I don't neccesarily like the celebrities, I just like the pictures. Like Diane Kruger. She's not really a favorite actress of mine although I do like her and think she is pretty. She just happened to have tons of pretty pictures and so I saved lots and now I have lots of icons of her as well. :D
If you have gotten this far, I will let you know that there are certain people I will never, ever icon. For example, Paris Hilton. I will never icon her or save a picture of her. Or Nicole Richie, or Lindsay Lohan. I used to love Lindsay Lohan when I was a pre-teen. Do I love her now? The answer is NO. I can't stand what she has done to herself. And I can't stand that she has become like Paris Hilton. And Nicole Richie is just gross. Have you seen those pictures of her in the tabloids where she is like mega skinny. Mega skinny where you can see like her bones and stuff. Gross. Being that skinny does not make you pretty. At all.
Ok, enough of my ranting. :D
On to the icons.
I love typing. It just feels nice to type fast and to look the screen and see the words appearing. Like now.
You will probably be able to tell that I switched styles quite a bit while making these. I decided after like the first ten icons that I didn't want to use dusty textures anymore. :D
I used the same coloring techinque for almost all of the icons. Some needed a bit of tweaking, but in the end, same Selective Color and Hue/Saturation layers. ;)
