So the other day a guy in my psychology class was asking people whether they heard about some chick getting stabbed with a needle that had a label that said "Welcome to the World of AIDS!"
But I
knew better. So I laid the FUCKING LAW DOWN.
I told him that was an urban legend and had been since the late nineties. I told him it was a horror story told out of ignorance and fear. I told him he should stop spreading this stupid goddamn story because the few cases of this actually happening were all proven either false or to be completely unrelated to what was described.

Actually I muttered about it sounding like an urban legend. And the guy told me to "eat his shit" and said he'd prove me wrong. Then he never found any proof on the computers (I checked later, just on the off chance that the urban legends had spawned actual attacks-
they haven't). Most of my solid facts were found later, when I began to doubt whether I was totally right. But I was. I just didn't have the proof in my hands or the guts to debate my point.
