Soo...

Did they just forget to add the musical's title to the calendar?

Is/are the usual director(s) not directing this year? (This would explain the why they pushed the Week of Show back about two weeks which is something that should be done every year since we are almost always not totally ready, even when we did this in middle school, but seeing as it's been the same director(s) all these years and they want to do it so it doesn't conflict with their schedules, I wonder if they backed out and an actually good director is getting involved.)

If the last one is true, this makes me wonder if Mr. B will be doing the musical, and more hopefully, one-act, this year. I don't know how well one-act would do without him, seeing as most of the cast broke up into cliques and didn't mesh as a team at all, but our performances were great. As far as I know he' s only done the musical once, but everyone who seems to think they know (despite being way too young and way too not-related-to-anyone-in-the-show) says it was better than any of the ones we've done recently.

This also makes me wonder whether losing our normal directors would end in crappier sets. Our sets seem to hinge on the directors' connections with people in the community, and since one of the main designer's daughters just graduate it's even more likely she'll have no motive to help despite being a teacher in our district.

Hmmm. I sure hope things work out. I hope I get in, too, since this'll probably be the last musical I'm ever in.
