this morning, at about 5:30 in the morning, i was rudely awakened by an earthquake. as my rickety ikea loft bed shook back and forth, i wondered if the old house would collapse on me. but before i could decide to get out of bed, it stopped. stupid city. too bad no one else was around, i could have asked "what the hell was that?!?"

i was up but didnt feel anything in the valley. is it completely fucked up that part of the reason i miss berkeley is the earthquakes?
