Puppy Scare
Our 13 year old golden retriever mix fell down the stairs last night at around 4am. The sound of it woke me up and we rushed down to find him on the floor, completely shaken in a puddle of OMG pee. His legs didn't want to cooperate at first and he had a "I'm drunk" look going on. I don't believe it was a seizure as he was responsive to us, just wobbly. We stayed up with him and made sure he was okay. It took him about 20 mins, but he managed to get up and even did a lap or two around the couch before we were satisfied enough to go back asleep. He's usually a bouncy, happy dog, but its really scary when his true age shows through...
