not great
Ok so today wasn't a fantastic day. Infact it was rather shit. First of all my rabbit, cuddles, was put to sleep :( It may not sound much compared to what's going on in the world and other people's problems, but he was my first pet and I've had him since I was 7 (nearly 10 years). He collapsed on monday night, and his neck was bending right back so his head was nearly against his back (in a rabbit C-shape), he wasn't breathing right and he kept spasming. We thought he might have bad heatstroke as he was very warm, so left him in a dimly lit, well ventilated, cool area (under guidance of 'how to look after your rabbit') overnight. The next morning he still wasn't any better, so we took him to the vet where they kept him in under sedation and on fluids, and he started to get a little better. But today he started fitting and getting poorly again, so they put him to sleep. On the bill it says 'rabbit euthanasia'.
And secondly I was mauled by a vicious cactus. I have spines all up my arm, and I can't get them out. I've been sitting here for ages with the tweezers, but it doesn't seem to be making any difference.
I hate wednesdays. Bring on thursday...
