Finally.

Since I've been back for a while now, I should probably get something in here, in case anyone cares/was wondering. I was in Phoenix for two weeks - got there a couple days before my grandmother was released from the rehab center and spent those days visiting her. We came home on a Wednesday, but that was about all we did that day. Thursday we went to the grocery store and she walked around a bunch with the cart then went to sit down while I finished shopping and checked out*. That was the only momentous, memorable activity for Th. Friday there was a memorial service held at the park for a friend/acquaintance that she wanted to attend. She sat through the whole thing, but was exhausted and we went home the second it was done. Saturday she was stronger and had more energy - even good for cards by evening. By the time I left, she could get up in the morning, call the credit card company, wash breakfast dishes, go up to the pool, do water aerobics, come back (pushed in wheelchair that part), make lunch, snooze for ten minutes, spend the afternoon going through cupboards deciding what packs and what tosses, walk up to get the mail, and go out to dinner.
I was supposed to start training last Wednesday evening but didn't get message that it had changed.
Brad: Elaine! What are you doing here?
E: Ummm, training?
Brad: You shouldn't be.
E:??
First session was last night. It'll run Mon/Thurs except this Thursday which is Passover. Done by end of April. I have homework.
Saturday went to DAR. Reboxed a lot of folders, labelled a billion and a half boxes, and did Bridget's filing for her. She gave me a chocolate bar. Dark. Unnecessary, but very nice.

Signed up as non-degree student at GW. Now I have to decide what I want to take this summer and register. Also need to take a placement test at Alliance Francaise.  Want to take one of the May-June classes.

I've had crazy knots in my shoulders for about three days now.  Killing me.

*I hate self checkouts.  One of the few things in this world that could make me violent.
